I’m a student from the Netherlands and part-time wedding photographer (www.monetmine.nl). Even though I love shooting weddings, with all kind of fancy equipment, my iPhone photography has given me the most fun I’ve had with photography in a while. Why? Because it makes me feel free, releases me of any technical hassle and challenges me to make more daring compostions. It forces you to go back to the basics of photography: making incredible images.

Since the moment I’ve started photographing, I’ve had an obsession for the ordinary. So much beauty in this world passes our eyes, without us noticing, it’s such a shame.. I’ve commited myself to capturing that beauty in our daily lives.

Alot of these pictures were made at a building where a collective of incredible creative students meet (www.eentweetien). I tried to capture the real, raw spirit of the place. I’ve even got an exposition of my iPhone pictures there: http://www.flickr.com/photos/rcsnellink/4461949241
